The experience was not positive as only one doctor did the necessary tests. At first they even laughed at me when I told them I had fever and pain. There are no other options in this island, but I would suggest to go straight to the emergency are as they are more used to deal with patients than the clinic doctors.

I received medical assistance at VINMEC Phu Quoc International Hospital, & can honestly say that the hospital staff were incredible from start to finish. I was not able to communicate very well with the doctors & my partner had to handle everything on my behalf. The hospital staff kept us both calm & reassured us every step of the way. Being taken to hospital whilst in a foreign country is scary as it is, but when you received the attention & treatment by such an incredible group of medical staff, you are able to take a breather & let them do their jobs knowing that you are in the best hands. Could not fault them at all!
