Taipei City Hospital Heping Fuyou Branch

The overall experience was fantastic. I admit, I was a little scared at first. It definitely doesn't look like the kind of hospital that I am used to in the US or UK, but there was no reason to be. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. When they didn't have the english for something, they found someone who did or used their phone. If I got confused, someone was always on hand to make sure I understood what I needed to do next. And it was fast! So fast! I was in and out in just under 2.5 hours including x-rays and blood tests. I have never had an emergency room visit go that quickly!

The staff speaks in English, I was able to secure next-day appointment, the waiting times were short and the staff was very helpful.

The hospital was great -- efficient, clean, and new. They were very thorough in their care. None of the staff except for the doctor and information desk spoke English, so it was confusing to navigate.

Almost zero wait time in emergency from triage to diagnosis, x-ray then prescription to payments with all documentation requested made available (used AI translation because the cashiers cannot speak English well but the nurses and doctors all do so if they're not busy can probably help you explain to cashier what Safety Wing needs). The staff were mostly young locals, very affable and attentive but professional. I would give them 5 stars if they had more English signage up but things like X-ray you can kind of infer anyways for the colored lines on the ground you follow to the X-ray room.
