I was able to get into the first hospital in Chiayi as it was very quiet and there was only one other patient there. It was on a Sunday and I was told that it was just for emergencies but when I explained my situation, they referred me to a doctor. I felt confident in his abilities and he spoke English very well. When I went to the hospital in Taichung, they were very efficient and I never had to wait long. After I had my chest xray and bronchial dilation done, the results were both ready when I went back downstairs to the doctors office. I felt very confident in his abilities but it was hard to understand his English because of his accent. Looking back, I should have asked him to dictate everything into Google Translate.
