I was admitted to the ICU at Hospital Comarcal de Vinaròs during my summer holidays after presenting with chest pain. From the very beginning, the medical and nursing teams treated me with professionalism, empathy, and vigilance. They worked in close coordination with the Hemodynamics Unit at Hospital General de Castellón, ensuring that my case was evaluated from every angle. Although at first I did not fully meet the strict criteria for urgent catheterisation, the doctors did not dismiss my symptoms. Instead, they listened carefully, reassessed my situation, and decided to investigate further. This vigilance led to the discovery of a completely blocked coronary artery that required immediate intervention. Thanks to their swift collaboration and commitment, I received a stent in time to prevent further damage to my heart. I am profoundly grateful to both teams for their expertise, teamwork, and humanity. Their dedication quite literally saved my life, and I will never forget the care I received at Hospital Comarcal de Vinaròs and Hospital General de Castellón.
