This was at CUF Porto Emergency Department. The receptionist and the doctor both spoke excellent English. I was admitted and received medical care very quickly. Since the bleeding had not stopped, I was given a yellow wristband, which means patients should be seen within 60 minutes. The doctor saw me after about 10 minutes. He cleaned the wound, used medical skin glue, and decided that stitches were not necessary. Everything was done quickly and professionally. The doctor also invited me to come back for a follow-up examination two days later without having to register at reception, completely free of charge. To me, this showed that patient care was his top priority. I am very grateful for the help I received and highly appreciate the professionalism and attention of the medical staff.
