The staff at Timaru Hospital were kind and considerate, especially as my visit was to do with such a personal concern. They explained what tests I needed and why at each stage, and were clear when explaining their thoughts on what was wrong and advising further tests once I was discharged and why. There was also a lovely volunteer there who brought me and my partner hot drinks and sandwiches which was unexpected and very appreciated.
