However, I was given highly incorrect medical guidance regarding a confirmed eardrum perforation. I was told I could swim after 3 days and advised to use Q-tips to clean the canal—both of which are dangerous 'no-gos' for a perforated drum. If you visit, double-check any procedural advice with a specialist, though the pharmacy and initial diagnosis were efficient.
