You have to pay for everything upfront, item by item. Staff will not inform you of procedure costs in advance, and getting accurate information was genuinely difficult. They wanted to hospitalize me to run a test the following morning, but couldn't confirm that the technician would actually be present to perform it. Once admitted, the experience improved considerably. I had a decent private room and was treated well by attentive nurses and doctors — but the finance and reception staff were a different story entirely. I am now trying to obtain a statement of expenses and cannot reach the payments department by any means. I may have to go there in person just to get basic documentation. That should not be necessary.
