This claim relates to a purchase at Pharmacie Cite Arconville (Abomey-Calavi), where the service was satisfactory. My rating, however, is for the Centre Hospitalier International de Calavi (CHIC), where the prescription was issued. CHIC is a leading referral hospital in Benin and one of the most modern facilities in the ECOWAS region: state-of-the-art equipment and carefully selected, highly competent medical staff. Some staff members speak English, but French is the main working language. The only drawback is the paperwork: several administrative steps are required on site before seeing the doctor, which makes visits somewhat lengthy.
